As a seasoned Design Consultant, I've provided an array of comprehensive services to my clients. These encompass crafting compelling Business Brochures and proposals, collaborating on business plan development, and guiding restaurant proprietors through the application process for prestigious catering awards.

My expertise extends to various planning-related tasks, such as facilitating Advertisement applications, navigating license applications, and overseeing building regulations applications alongside detailed drawings. I've also adeptly produced As-Built drawings, conducted thorough general surveys, and prepared plan drawings, all while meticulously assessing overall building conditions. 

ONE STEAKHOUSE RESTAURANT

I've been entrusted with an exciting new project as a design consultant for a forthcoming restaurant and lounge venture situated in Hull City Centre. The conversion of a former bank into this innovative space presents numerous design challenges, but I'm eager to collaborate with my client, Edi, in bringing this ambitious concept to life. The original design by Mariol Hoxha and Xhesilda Memia lays the foundation for what promises to be a remarkable establishment, complete with a roof terrace and high-end finishes, destined to enrich Hull's vibrant culinary landscape.

Drawing from my experience, I've assembled a top-notch team of contractors, leveraging the expertise garnered from the Soju project in Beverley. Together, we've devised practical plans, including detailed lighting and electrical layouts, to streamline the work for our electrician and builders. Additionally, I've committed to regular design meetings throughout the construction phase, poised to tackle any design challenges that may arise and ensure the project's success.

Lovely to see the finished restaurant open for business and booked up for weeks in advance. I am so grateful for being a part of this exciting project, supporting Gary - a national award winning restauranteur, throughout the planning process and interior design. Creating 3D, plans, elevations, illustrations, measurements, product sourcing to support in all the decision making in many aspects of the design. 

Planning Permission granted for restaurant project

 

Managed to obtain planning permission for a new restaurant in Beverley, working with  local planning authority, conservation, and highways to be granted full approval.  Now we are working on possible interior design solutions over this 2 storey building in this busy centre of Beverley with the intention to create an exciting interior for its patrons

Freelance work for CKArchitectural Ltd

Here are some of my latest freelance design and illustration works for CKArchitectural Ltd.  As always it is good to catch up with the design team and work on interesting projects.  I carried out some of the elevation designs, tweaked some of the plans, created a basic model and illustrated some keys scenes.

 

 Sumo Restaurant - Hessle Open for Business

An exiting project from start to finish. Gary had a vision for his restaurant and I was happy to assist him in achieving his goal. It was good bounce ideas around, visit other restaurants to gain inspiration and create illustrations and plans to enable Gary to solidify his vision.  Once we were ready we went through all the necessary planning and licencing  applications. Since planning was approved Gary has pretty much managed the whole build himself with a little assistance from myself and now he is open for business and is very successful.

Additional to being part of the initial design team I was responsible for much of the presentation work.  Developing skills in Sketchup, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator.

New Client - Restaurant Design & Planning Permission

I recently started a Facebook page for ANTHONY WAN DESIGN & DRAUGHT LTD and Gary from Sumo Restaurant of Beverley found me promoting my portfolio.  Since then we have been working together on a very exciting design and currently have a planning application in progress.

I created this artists impression to bring this project to life and now we are designing the internal details.

Just completed an illustration of an exciting commercial project designed by Chris Lawson of CK Architectural Ltd.  I was presented with 2D plans and elevations to prepare for a basic 3D model. I then created scenes to add further details to bring the project to life
